The largest international big boat sailing event in Mainland China, the China Cup International Regatta will embrace its 11th edition from Oct 26 to 29 October, 2017. The event takes place in Hong Kong and Shenzhen (Guangdong Province), China under the auspices of Water Sports Administration Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and Shenzhen Municipal Administration of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The 4-day event will include 10 different classes of competition and 8 races: Hong Kong to Shenzhen passage race, inshore races and round the island races in Shenzhen, with 1500 sailors from more than 35 different countries and regions are epxected.

After the success of the inaugural China Cup International Regatta in 2007 organisers rapidly expanded the One Design Class to 30 Beneteau First 40.7 yachts. More classes have been included so expect intense competition this year in Daya Bay of Shenzhen, China. An extravaganza of social and cultural events are held during the event. Now the Organizing Committee welcome sailors from around the world to participate in the the regatta.
